Trainee Dental Nurse

Location:

Banbury Dental, 35 High Street, Banbury, Oxton, OX16 5ER

Hours:

40 hours per week

Role Overview:

This is a permanent, "learn while you earn" role — the first step to a rewarding career in Dental Nursing. Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Dentist by providing chairside support, ensuring the availability of equipment and materials.
2. Support and assist a diverse range of patients.
3. Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures.
4. Keep clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy, and disinfected.
5. Accurately complete patient clinical records.
6. Complete all clinical logs and checks daily, weekly, and monthly.

Training and Support:

We support Trainee Nurses pursuing a Dental Nursing Qualification, including the National Diploma in Dental Nursing (Level 3), which involves:

• On-the-job training
• Online learning
• Face-to-face training sessions
• Completion of a record of experience
• Written and practical exams
