Job description

Trainee Day Programme Facilitator

Location: Dover

Salary: £23,200 per annum

Vacancy Type: Contracted

Closing Date: 30th of October 2026

As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification, subject to eligibility criteria.

You will be assigned to a business unit, where you will work alongside an experienced team member who will provide guidance, support and hands‑on training across the various aspects of the role. Through shadowing and practical experience, you will gain a better understanding of the role and develop the skills and confidence needed to become competent in your position.

Throughout your traineeship, you will receive regular reviews to monitor your progress, identify development opportunities and ensure you remain on track to successfully complete the programme. You will also be expected to undertake the compulsory therapy element as part of the traineeship.

Your time will be divided between gaining valuable practical experience in the workplace and undertaking the necessary study towards your assigned qualification, subject to eligibility criteria.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated to learn, eager to develop and committed to building a successful career.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn, take on new challenges and make the most of the development opportunities available throughout the traineeship.

You will demonstrate a positive attitude, a willingness to learn from experience and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, able to respond positively to change and confident in communicating with colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

  • Proactivity: You take initiative, think quickly and actively look for ways to contribute and get things done.
  • Resilience: You approach challenges positively, learn from mistakes and use these experiences to support your personal and professional growth.
  • Adaptability: You can adjust to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Confidence: You communicate clearly and concisely, maintain positive eye contact and demonstrate confidence in your own abilities.
  • Teamwork: You work collaboratively and harmoniously with colleagues to achieve shared goals and deliver positive results.
  • Openness to Feedback: You welcome constructive feedback and use it to improve your performance, develop your skills and build your confidence.
  • Innovation: You are curious, open to new ideas and continually look for opportunities to improve the way things are done.
  • Commitment to Learning and Development: You are motivated to complete your traineeship, engage fully with the training provided and work towards achieving a nationally recognised qualification, subject to eligibility criteria.

If you are enthusiastic about learning, committed to your development and ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
