Daniel Owen is proud to represent a leading Housing Association in the North London / Essex area, seeking a new Trainee Surveyor to join their team covering Damp and Mould projects.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on Social Housing Damp works projects.

Duties:
  1. Assist with all surveying duties within the housing stock and conduct technical inspections on planned works projects.
  2. Provide summary reports of ongoing cases and properties, outlining contractor performance and ensuring timely project completion.
  3. Conduct technical inspections of homes, including leased properties, to identify planned works according to company policies.
  4. Maintain commercial awareness within Reactive Repairs and Damp and Mould projects.
  5. Liaise with, monitor, and progress planned maintenance in the housing stock through DLO and partnering contractors.
Key Knowledge:
  • Previous experience in Social Housing required.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive work approach.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Experience with repairs, damp, and mould projects.
  • IT literacy.
