Job role – Trainee Customer Service Advisor

Location – Eastbourne, East Sussex

Salary – dependent on experience

Hours – Full time (Monday to Friday, Saturday rota basis)

I am working with a busy main dealership in Eastbourne, East Sussex who are seeking a Trainee Service Advisor to join their friendly team.

This is an exciting opportunity for any candidate wanting to kick start their career in the Automotive Industry or progress their skills further. The successful Trainee Service Advisor will receive full manufacturer training with the added benefit of working for a Company that believes in progressing and developing their team.

The Trainee Service Advisor role requires an outgoing, enthusiastic motivated individual who has excellent people skills to ensure the highest level of customer experience is always provided.

Trainee Service Advisor Duties include:

  • Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
  • Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
  • Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
  • Advise on timescales and collection arrangements
  • Produce job cards on in-house computer system
  • Update customer and vehicle records
  • Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
  • Preparation and completion of invoices

For this Trainee Service Advisor position, you will have:

  • Previous experience within Customer Service is essential
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the motor trade
  • A valid full UK driving licence
