Overview

ROLE: Cover Supervisor – Future Teacher Programme

LOCATION: South Yorkshire & Derbyshire

Start Date: ASAP

SALARY: £20,000 - £24,000 per annum

Are you a graduate considering a teaching career? Are you wanting to gain some classroom experience before making the leap into Education?

Responsibilities

• Lead classes of up to 30 students across all departments and subjects.
• Deliver preset work and manage classroom behaviour.
• Support schools in developing behaviour management skills and gain experience in a selected department to align with subject specialism where possible.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have some experience working within a school setting.
• Confidence and capability to lead classes and manage challenging behaviour.
• Subject specialism would be advantageous.

Contract Details

• Full time or part time roles (Monday – Friday or minimum of 3 days per week).
• Working hours 8.15am – 3.30pm.
• Term time only – in line with the academic calendar.
• Salary dependent upon experience.
