Phoenix Futures are seeking a Trainee Counsellor to gain experience in psychosocial treatment for substance use at Ophelia House, a women’s-only residential service. You will support clients to achieve goals, contribute to tailored interventions, and work with a skilled team in a dynamic, compassionate setting.

• Willingness to learn and compassionate approach.
• Working towards a BACP-accredited counsellor qualification.
• Experience in substance use or related field is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Shadow the counsellor and assist in 1-to-1 and group work.
• Learn to carry out strength-based assessments and create care plans.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team including Therapeutic workers, Nurses and support staff.
