Location: Stamford

Are you looking to kickstart your career in construction? Do you want to join a leading industrial architecture firm, offering excellent training and progression opportunities? An opportunity is available to be part of an industrial architectural firm that has been providing design and management services to the food manufacturing industry for over 25 years.

This company works with a range of clients in the food industry, including well-known companies across the UK such as Greggs and Oscar Mayer.

In this varied role, you will be involved in large industrial projects and trained to complete designs from project conception to completion. Your responsibilities will include shadowing experienced technicians, assisting with various design projects, and helping prepare documentation for permits and approvals. You will also have the opportunity to dedicate one day per week to professional development, studying part-time to qualify as a technician.

The Role:

1. Shadowing experienced architects and technicians
2. Attending site visits and meeting clients
3. Assisting with generating project ideas and preliminary research
4. Contributing to design proposals
5. Assisting in completing drawings and creating presentation materials
6. Helping prepare documents for permits and approvals, communicating with stakeholders
7. Undertaking professional development and obtaining necessary qualifications
