Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a Trainee Commercial & Van Mechanic for our Crayford/Dartford area workshop. Suitable candidates have at least 6 months in a garage, van fleet, or workshop and hold a UK driving licence with basic hand tools. The role offers a clear path to upskill into commercial fleet and HGV maintenance.

You will be part of a modern, high-spec facility with long-term progression and officially supported training programs, including EV/hybrid certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in automotive garage, van fleet or commercial workshop.
• NVQ Level 2 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or studying towards Level 3).
• Full UK driving licence and basic hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet vehicles and perform routine servicing on LCV fleets.
• Carry out PMIs, safety checks and minor mechanical repairs.
• Support repair work and maintenance within a structured workshop environment.
