Ideal candidates will have completed a mechanical or maintenance engineering apprenticeship and possess strong electrical and mechanical skills. TPT2294 CNC Service Technician

Citizen Machinery is a CNC machine tool specialist manufacturer designing and building state of the art CNC turning technology to UK industry with both the Miyano and Cincom brand (fixed head and sliding head lathes) using advanced technologies including LFV.

Citizen pride themselves on providing a career path for passionate CNC setters or CNC maintenance Technicians who want a career as a Field Service Engineer.

Have you completed a mechanical engineering Apprenticeship or a Maintenance Apprenticeship and been working on CNC machines and live within the areas of Birmingham through to Bristol? Then please apply now. We will use your current skills and experience to fully train you to become a Field Service Engineer in time.

You will need a clean driving licence and be happy to be field based and during your training may be away from home on occasions.

You will start initially on the warranty side of the business and the role will include:-

  • Servicing and maintaining our Cincom and Miyano CNC machines
  • Using electrical and mechanical skills
  • Warranty based repairs
  • Annual and period servicing
  • General Maintenance
