Job summary

Schunk Carbon Technology, a division of the Schunk Group, is hiring a Trainee CNC Operator in Pudsey. You will learn to read drawings, program Mazak CNC machines, set up and run them, and perform in-process checks on dimensions using gauges and CMM where required.

Work in a team on the shop floor with full PPE and health and safety standards. The role offers permanent, full-time hours with shift options and a chance to progress as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Read drawings and create CNC programs for Mazak machines.
• Setting up and programming CNC machines.
• First-off dimensional testing on new programs.
• Feeding and running CNC machines.
• In-process controls using manual devices (gauges, micrometer).
• Finished product inspections using CNC CMM machines.
