If so, we are advertising for a full-time Trainee CNC Machinist/ CNC Operator to join a leading specialist in reproducing classic car interiors and trims in Leiston, Suffolk.

As the Trainee CNC Machinist/ CNC Operator, you will be trained in all aspects of CNC cutting using CAD in the specialist cutting department, as well as working in the hand cutting department. You will gain artisan skills to prepare different trim packages for the factory, working with materials including vinyl, leather, foam, wadding, piping, and carpet. Working hours are 07:00 - 17:23, Monday to Thursday, with flexible hours considered.
You may be seeking your first role or be an experienced CNC Machinist/ CNC Operator. Experience with CNC cutting machines in textile, wood, or metal fabrication is preferred. Familiarity with CAD software, ERP, CRM systems, and proficiency in MS Office is advantageous. Full training is available. Essential qualities include attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
