Trainee CNC Machinist - Hatfield, Doncaster - c£24-£27k to start - days only Monday to Friday: 7.30am to 4.30pm Mon to Thurs Early Friday Finish! - 40 hours Ash Consulting are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee CNC Machinist to join our clients well established manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in precision engineering and gain hands-on experience with CNC machinery in a supportive and structured environment. Main Duties: • Assist in the setup and operation of CNC machines (routers, lathes, grinding and milling machines). • Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Support the production of precision components to tight tolerances. • Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning tasks. • Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times. • Work closely with experienced machinists and supervisors to develop skills. • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues. Candidate Requirements: • A keen interest in engineering and manufacturing. • Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn. • Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements. • Strong work ethic and reliability. • Ability to work well in a team environment.
