Trainee CNC Machinist

Rate of Pay

Dayshift & nightshift available:

  • Days: £17 per hour
  • Nights: £21.45 per hour
  • Overtime: Time & a half
Responsibilities as a Trainee CNC Machine Operator:
  • Completing all training in fabrication tasks as assigned by the supervisor/charge hand accurately and efficiently.
  • Training in operating fabrication machinery, overhead cranes, and hand tools, ensuring safety and quality standards.
  • Inspecting your own work over time to ensure it meets the company's high-quality standards.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
The ideal candidate:
  • Basic knowledge of CNC Machines or experience working on a CNC machine is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Understanding of CNC machinery and operations.
  • Reliable with flexibility to work dayshift and nightshift.
  • Basic programming experience.
