We currently have an exciting opportunity to bring onboard two Trainee Client Group Analysts to join Royal London Asset Management on a permanent contract in London.

As a Trainee Client Group Analyst, you will support the Client Group Operations team by providing operational and analytical support and insights.

The team’s core purpose is to be client-focused, data-led, and digitally nimble to improve client experience and support RLAM's future growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to learn and grow within the business intelligence and operations domain.

About the role
  • Deliver analysis and interpretation of data to support business decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of business intelligence reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Client Group team with operational tasks and projects, including the Change programme.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Analyse, create, and manage Client, Sales, and AUM data used within Client Group.
  • Undertake daily and monthly procedural tasks related to the RLAM Client Book of Records (CBOR) and Client Relationship Management system MS Dynamics (CRM).
  • Create business intelligence queries and data visualisations to share insights with business users and support a self-service user model.
About you
  • A university degree or equivalent with a foundational understanding of finance and strong data analysis skills, or a sales/operations background with knowledge of relevant processes and robust data skills.
  • Analytical skills and a passion for data and insights.
  • Basic understanding of business intelligence tools and data analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, or R is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisation and planning skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
