Are you passionate about supporting young people and ready to take your first step into a career in education? Teaching Personnel is recruiting Trainee Classroom Assistants for full-time roles in secondary schools across Newport and Cwmbran.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive school environment, working with students aged 11–16. Whether you're a recent graduate, career changer, or simply exploring a future in teaching, this role offers the ideal starting point.

Job Overview – Trainee Classroom Assistant

  • Start Date: September 2025 (opportunity to start in June/July if available sooner)
  • Contract: 1 st September – 20 th July 2026
  • Location: Your choice of a secondary school from Newport or Cwmbran area!
  • Pay: Starting at £13.75/hour or £89.38/day and up to £95.50 a day!
  • Hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday (Term-time only)
