Job summary

Warburtons is recruiting for a Distribution Driver at our Biggleswade site. You’ll start early at 04:00 in a 4-on/2-off rota, delivering to multiple customers with a professional and friendly approach.

You’ll receive intensive 6-week training to gain your Class 2 Licence with no cost, plus ongoing Driver CPC training during working hours. Expect autonomy, safety focus, and a strong team environment within a leading bakery brand.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and be able to attain a Class C licence and CPC within 6–12 months.
• Experience in FMCG multi‑drop distribution is preferred.
• Knowledge of transport legislation (e.g., Highway Code) is required.
• Health and safety awareness and reading delivery notes are essential.
• Good written and spoken English for communication and notes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to multiple customers daily with professional conduct.
• Load and unload your vehicle and manage delivery notes or device.
• Work a rotating 4 days on, 2 days off pattern (43 hours/week).
• Gain Class 2 Licence through our Driver Academy with no cost.
• Support safe vehicle operation and report faults to service providers.
