Job summary

Warburtons is recruiting a Trainee Class 2 Driver for our Newburn site. You’ll train to obtain your Class 2 licence with all costs covered, supported by our driver training team. Shifts are 43 hours per week on a 5-in-7 rota, with an early start around 3:30am.

A full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) and knowledge of transport legislation are essential. You’ll be reliable, customer‑focused and ready for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
• Knowledge of transport legislation
• Reliable, responsible and customer focused
• Experience in fast paced environment and deliveries or picking orders

Responsibilities

• Attend intensive driver training to gain Class 2 Licence at no cost
• Driver CPC training provided during work hours
• Shift starts around 3:30am on a 43-hour week, 5 days out of 7
• Accurately pick orders from delivery notes or electronic device and load vehicle
• Work set contracted hours with some weekends and bank holidays
