The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is offering a fixed-term 12-month Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner post within the CYP IAPT programme. The role requires attending university-based taught days at the University of Northampton, with placements at Shrewsbury and Telford

Responsibilities

• Deliver brief, outcome-focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
• Work under supervision in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Attend university-based taught days at the education provider and complete university requirements.
• Travel to placements and rotating sites in Shrewsbury and Telford as part of the training.
