Job summary

Zizzi is seeking a Trainee Chef in the United Kingdom to learn to stretch dough and make al dente pasta in an open kitchen. No prior chef experience is required; you will be taught the skills to build a kitchen career. We’re looking for a team player with a great attitude and a love for food, ready to learn and grow.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, with flexible hours and opportunities to progress to Chef and Head Chef as you develop your skills.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; no kitchen experience required.
• Great attitude and willingness to learn.
• Love for Italian ingredients and a genuine desire to master the Zizzi menu.
• Reliable and available for evenings, weekends and busy holiday periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook our menu to spec in a busy open kitchen.
• Take pride in the quality of every dish leaving your section.
• Master the menu and specs to keep service fast and consistent.
• Maintain a spotless kitchen and follow food safety procedures.
• Work closely with the team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
