Job summary

apetito is hiring for a weekend kitchen role in Wiltshire, working 36 hours Friday to Sunday. Starts at Grade 4 (£14.78) and progresses to Grade 5 (£15.93) upon successful training, with an hourly rate of £14.78 plus £2.70 shift allowance, plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Promote good teamwork and support department targets.
Undertake any training offered by the employer.

Responsibilities

Weigh products to be used in recipes.
Control left over stock using FIFO.
Cook products following given recipes.
Clean pots between products and liaise with High Care Ops when equipment changes occur.
Complete paperwork accurately (legal requirement).
Be flexible to work in other areas as required.
Ensure finished cooking is correct and quality checked before release.
Inform area lead of any suspected quality issues.
Maintain accurate yields to prevent devaluations and ensure consistency.
Taste test each cooking batch with a colleague before assembly.
