Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a CYP-Psychological Therapies Trainee – ASC/LD Modality to join the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team. This NHSE-funded 1-year post supports individuals to develop new or expand existing pathways in child mental health.

Applicants must hold a relevant degree and meet BABCP KSA eligibility criteria, with data sharing for the UCL course application as part of the process. Successful candidates will work as part of a multi-disciplinary CAMHS team.

Qualifications

• Minimum second-class Bachelor’s degree or overseas qualification equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Core profession recognised by BABCP or level 6 qualification with BABCP KSA eligibility and 2 years’ relevant therapeutic experience.

Responsibilities

• Dual application process for CAMHS role and UCL training course.
• Liaise with Course Team to review academic requirements and shortlisting.
• Complete NHSE-funded training pathway within 1-year programme.
