The role
As a Calibration Operative, you will process sales orders efficiently, program and calibrate instruments for shipment, and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Follow all health and safety policies and requirements.
  2. Perform final programming, testing, and calibration of gas detection instruments.
  3. Assist in the final assembly of instruments as required.
  4. Identify and resolve minor faults on instruments.
  5. Process orders received via SAP.
  6. Monitor gas supplies and stock levels, recommending reordering as needed.
  7. Maintain production data using Microsoft applications.
  8. Enter data into spreadsheets and perform stock checks.
  9. Participate in internal meetings and assist other departments as needed.
  10. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and customer demands.
  11. Maintain a tidy and methodical workspace, minimizing waste.
