Essential Results Ltd is looking for a Trainee CAD Technician to join their engineering team, responsible for preparing engineering drawings. An exciting employment opportunity has arisen for a Trainee CAD Technician to join a well-established team, working across various sectors. Our customers include Ford Motors, Lockheed Martin, Warner Brothers, and McLaren, among others.
Established over 50 years ago, we are first-class engineers specializing in high-end, low-volume prototype engineering. As a Trainee CAD Technician, you will be responsible for preparing drawings from initial conception through to completion.
The company operates Spaceclaim and Catia; however, training will be provided on these packages if required.
We are seeking a candidate with an interest in and a good understanding of engineering, ideally supported by a relevant Design/Engineering qualification.
Attention to detail is crucial for success in this role, along with strong self-discipline, time management skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm. The salary is negotiable depending on experience. We offer an excellent team environment and benefits.
