TRAINEE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

PORTSMOUTH

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of an award winning business who offer a wide range of service within the technology space.

The ideal candidate should have experience in new business sales, who is eager to grow and make an impact. You'll be joining a forward-thinking company with a strong presence in the tech industry, where you'll be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to the growth of innovative solutions portfolio.

THE ROLE:

  1. Proactively research and identify new potential clients through a variety of channels, including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other sales tools.
  2. Engage with leads and thoroughly qualify their needs.
  3. Outreach to prospects, explain the value of the company and create interest in a meeting with the sales team.
  4. Record and update all activities in the CRM system to ensure accurate tracking of leads, contacts, and opportunities.
  5. Work closely with the sales team to schedule meetings, hand over qualified leads, and ensure a smooth transition to the next phase of the sales process.
  6. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, meetings booked, and other KPIs.

THE PERSON:

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a Business Development Executive, Sales Development Representative, Sales Executive, Account Executive, SDR, BDR, or similar role.
  2. Some familiarity with cybersecurity or technology, IT, Telecoms is desirable.
  3. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. A self-starter with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  6. A passion for technology and learning about emerging trends in the sector.
