Rate of Pay: During Training Program: £479.60 per week (includes travel expenses). Once Qualified: As a fully qualified PCV driver, you will earn £14.00-£14.50 per hour.

We are seeking customer-focused individuals to join as Trainee Bus Drivers at our Burton upon Trent depot.

We are committed to providing trainees with a high-quality, comprehensive 2-week residential training programme to obtain your PCV licence. This training is delivered at our dedicated training school in Bolton, Greater Manchester, where a residential pay rate will apply, and accommodation will be provided.

The process for gaining your PCV licence is straightforward. Once your training is successfully completed, you will become a full-time Bus Driver within the company, operating services across Staffordshire and the East Midlands.

Our extensive training and development offerings include:

• Full PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) training worth over £4,000, providing you with a lifelong qualification
• Support and guidance throughout all modules of the PCV licence acquisition
• CPC training and ongoing training to maintain your qualifications
• Extensive route learning and vehicle familiarisation before starting service
• Company-specific training such as ticket machines, processes, systems, defensive driving techniques, customer care, policies, and procedures, and more.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid car driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Have already applied for and received your provisional category D licence from the DVLA.
• Good understanding of English and the ability to communicate with passengers.
