Job summary

First Bus in Worcester is hiring a Trainee Bus Driver to serve local routes and support the community with safe, reliable journeys. No prior bus driving experience is required; a full UK driving licence and 18+ years old are needed. Training is provided and hours are guaranteed.

The role offers a starting £14.00 per hour during training, increasing to £15.00 per hour once qualified after 12 months, with a mix of morning, evening and weekend shifts and advance rotas.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible approach to shift work.
• No PCV licence required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate local bus services across Worcester and surrounding areas.
• Provide safe, reliable and friendly journeys for passengers.
• Support scheduled rotas and meet contracted hours.
