Job summary

Arriva in Wrexham is seeking Trainee Bus Drivers to start a career driving our buses and serving communities. You’ll receive full paid training and pursue a PCV licence through the Arriva Training School, with ongoing CPC training and development opportunities.

No previous bus driving experience is required. The role offers rotating shifts, 6–8 weeks planning, and clear progression into management or specialist driving roles within Arriva.

Qualifications

• Be over 18 and hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable bus services and a positive passenger experience.
• Participate in Arriva Training School CPC training and ongoing professional development.
• Support shift patterns with rotating mornings, afternoons and evenings as planned.
