Job summary

Stagecoach Group is recruiting for a Trainee Bus Driver (including Apprenticeship qualification) at our Mansfield depot. You will start with fully paid training to gain your PCV licence, followed by Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship qualifications, delivering excellent customer service and supporting community transport needs.

Pay starts at £13.50 per hour during training, rising to £15.45 after 6 months. Annual earnings quoted after training reflect 39 hours/week as a qualified driver.

• Must be 18+ and hold a driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Complete industry-leading training and gain a PCV licence with CPC training.
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a welcoming journey for all passengers.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Salary

• Pay rate during training of £13.50 per hour (training will last 6-8 weeks)
• Annual earnings of £31,332.60 following completion of training based on 39 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Shift patterns of early, middle and lates including Bank holidays

What do you need to apply?

You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
