Stagecoach in the United Kingdom is offering an apprenticeship opportunity at the Kettering depot. You will train to gain your PCV licence through a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship while earning a wage.

Salary

• Annual earnings in excess of £28,675
• Pay rates between £14.14 and £22.29 per hour (pending review) increasing after 1 year
• Pay rates between £14.14 and £22.29 per hour (pending pay review) increasing after 1 year
• Annual earnings of in excess of £28,675 based on a 39-hour working week without enhancements
• Shift patterns of any 5 days out of 7 including weekend working

At our Kettering depot, we operate a fleet of 48 buses covering a large area within the North Northamptonshire area with a team of 140 Drivers.

What will you be doing?

• Completing our industry leading training, securing your PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development which form part of gaining your Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship

• Working a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, no two days are the same!

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence for more than 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands or the British overseas territories for the last 3 years OR meet alternative criteria due to funding criteria (can be discussed via application)
