Typical annualised earnings of £34.070 PA Based on average rota of 42 hours P/W at 15.60 P/H Overtime Rate £19.50 Mon -Fri & £23.40 weekends & Bank Holidays

Trainee Bus Driver (including Apprenticeship qualification)

  • Pay rate during training of £12.21 per hour (training will last 6 – 8 weeks)
  • Annual earnings of £34,880 following completion of training based on 42 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
  • Shift patterns of Earlies, Middles and Lates

What do you need to apply?

  • You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • To be eligible for apprenticeship funding, you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the last 3 years.
  • As this apprenticeship requires a minimum commitment of 12-months, candidates should have at least 2 years of valid visa or leave to remain from the start of the programme to be able to complete it.
  • A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
