Job summary

Stagecoach Group is hiring at the Northampton depot for a Trainee Bus Driver. No experience needed; you’ll be paid to train and earn while you learn, gaining a PCV licence via a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship. Training lasts ~12–14 weeks with pay £12.71/h; after working solo it rises to £14.02/h.

On your 1-year anniversary pay reaches £16.45/h. Shifts are 4 or 5 days in 7. You’ll join a friendly, safety‑conscious team delivering reliable journeys and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK and residency criteria
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team

Responsibilities

• Complete our industry leading training and gain PCV licence through Level 2 Apprenticeship
• Drive our buses safely and confidently
• Deliver excellent customer service to all passengers
• Work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends
