Job summary

Stagecoach Ardrossan is looking for a Trainee Bus Driver with no prior driving experience required. You will train fully and earn while you learn, delivering safe transport and strong customer service in Ardrossan.

Starting pay is £15.10 per hour, with scheduled increases to £15.50 and progression toward a full PCV licence. Overtime is available and benefits include a company pension, free travel for you and a companion, and clear career pathways.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Right to work in the UK (DVLA 183+ days presence).
• At least 1 year of driving experience.

£15.25 per hour from 26th October 2026

£15.50 per hour from 25th January 2027

Equivalent to £588.90 per week / £30,622.80 rising to £604.50 per week / £31,434 per year by early 2027! (pro rata for part-time)

Overtime is available to boost earnings
