Job summary

Arriva Yorkshire Limited is hiring bus drivers in the West Yorkshire area. The role involves a 5-out-of-7 rotating shift pattern with early morning start times and rotating afternoons/evenings.

You will receive CPC training and have access to career progression opportunities, including overtime and employee benefits. Initial training and mentoring are provided, with progressive pay rising from training to probation and after completion.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Will need undergo a drug and alcohol test before your assessment.
• Great people skills.
• Flexibility as shifts start as early as 4AM and may extend to 1AM depending on start time.

Responsibilities

• 5 out of 7 rotating shift pattern up to 6-8 weeks in advance.
• Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons from 12:00 and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotation.
• Overtime opportunities.

Pay Rate: £13.75 - £16.00 per hour

£13.75 per hour - During training and mentoring (around 8 weeks).

£14.00 per hour - 6 months probation period.

£16.00 per hour - after successful probation completion.

Hours of work and role:

• 5 out of 7 rotating shift pattern up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts.

• Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons start from 12:00 and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis.

• We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon or evenings separately.

• Overtime available.
