Pay Rate: £12.60 - £14.75 per hour

Start your bus driving career with Arriva at our Wakefield depot, where you will be at the heart of your community! Whether it is getting commuters to work, helping customers with shopping, or getting children to school, we provide an important service in connecting our customers to what matters to them. As a Bus Driver, you’ll provide vital services to hospitals and universities across the county.

Pay Rates:

• £12.60 per hour during training and mentoring (~8 weeks)
• £13.20 per hour during a 6-month probation period
• £14.75 per hour after successful probation

Pay rates are reviewed regularly through negotiations.

Hours of Work

• Rotating shift patterns, planned 6-8 weeks in advance
• Mornings from 04:00, afternoons from 12:00, evenings from 18:00
• Overtime available upon request and availability

Requirements

• Over 18 years old
• Minimum 6 months driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests
• Excellent people and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work shifts
