First Bus in Leeds is hiring a Trainee Bus Driver on a permanent, full-time basis. You will train on routes across mornings, evenings and weekends with shifts planned in advance for a stable schedule.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided. The role offers progression as you become fully qualified, with pay escalating as you gain experience.

• You must be at least 18 years old with at least 6 months driving experience.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Flexibility to work on a rota / shift basis (early mornings, late nights, weekends).

Job Title - Trainee Bus Driver

Location - Leeds, Bramley

Salary - £13.80 per hour

Contract - Full Time, Permanent, 37 hours per week - 4 days per week, Monday – Sunday

Looking for a permanent, full-time role with clear progression? We’re hiring Trainee Bus Drivers to join our Leeds team. You’ll work a variety of shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends. Shifts are planned in advance, giving you structure and flexibility, including weekday time off.

As you complete training and gain experience, your pay increases automatically

• £13.80 per hour while training

• £16.33 per hour once fully qualified

What we need from you:

• Proof of your Right to Work in the UK

• Flexibility to work on a rota / shift basis. (There are a variety of shifts which may consist of early mornings (starting 03.30hrs) / late nights (finishing at 02:00hrs) / weekends.)
