Job summary

First Bus in Leeds is recruiting Trainee Bus Drivers with paid training, starting on a 37-hour week across a 4-day roster (Sun–Sat). You will train for PCV/CPC and, once qualified, transport customers in your local area.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence (6 points max) for at least 6 months, show a customer-focused mindset, and be available to work shifts. Background checks are part of the process.

Trainee Bus Driver – Paid Training

Leeds Hunslet Park, West Yorkshire
£13.80 per hour (£26,031 per annum)
Hours: 37 hours per week - 4 days per week (Sunday to Saturday)
(Hours assigned in advance on a shift / rota basis)

The role

We're recruiting Trainee Bus Drivers in Leeds. If you've held a full UK driving licence for at least 6 months, we'll pay you to train for your PCV and CPC qualifications. Once qualified, you'll be safely transporting customers across your local community.
