Stagecoach is offering an apprentice Bus Driver role at our Ecclesfield depot in Sheffield. You will learn on the job with fully paid training to obtain a PCV licence via a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship, and progress after completion with earnings around £31,200 for a 40-hour week.

No prior experience required; you must be 18+, hold a UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points, and have the right to work in the UK. You’ll join a supportive team delivering safe, friendly journeys.

Salary

Hourly rate from £14.00 ph - whilst training. Increasing to £14.50 after training, then rising to £15.00 ph after one years service.

Plus extra £1ph for unsociable hours.

A 50p ph enhancement for all hours worked over 44 hours per week.

• Pay rate during training of £ 14.00 per hour (training will last 6-8 weeks)
• Annual earnings of £31,200 following completion of training based on 40 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Shift patterns of 5 days out of 7 per week

• Completing our industry leading training, securing your PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development which form part of gaining your Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship

• Working flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

• What do you need to apply?
• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands or the British overseas territories for the last 3 years OR meet alternative criteria due to funding criteria (can be discussed via application)
