Job summary

Arriva Tamworth depot is recruiting a Trainee Bus Driver to begin a rewarding career serving the community. You will complete full paid training to obtain a PCV licence through our Arriva Training School, with sessions at the Telford depot, followed by mentoring for a few weeks.

After training, shifts run 5 days out of 7, with early starts around 05:00 and late finishes around 23:45, averaging about 45 hours weekly on the main rota.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Can pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Great people and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Attend full paid training to gain a PCV licence via the Arriva Training School.
• Work as a Bus Driver on rotating shifts and routes.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist passengers.
• Follow safety rules and road regulations.
