FirstGroup is seeking a Trainee Bus Driver in Keynsham. No previous PCV licence is needed—just a full UK driving licence, good customer service, and a commitment to safety. You will receive full training and support to become a qualified driver.

The role is full-time with guaranteed hours, working a mix of mornings, evenings, and weekends. Starting pay is £14.50 per hour during training, rising to £17.40 per hour after qualification in 12 months, with overtime opportunities where available.

Trainee Bus Driver – Keynsham

You’ll start on £14.50 per hour while training, increasing to £17.40 per hour once qualified after 12 months. This is a full-time, permanent role with guaranteed contracted hours and rotas planned in advance, giving you stability and flexibility around your working week. You’ll work a variety of morning, evening and weekend shifts, with weekday time off built into your rota, plus opportunities for overtime to increase your earnings where available.

The Role

You’ll operate local bus services across Keynsham and the surrounding areas, helping people get to work, education, appointments, shopping and days out. As a customer-facing role, you’ll be at the heart of the communities you serve, with safety, professionalism and reliability at the centre of everything you do. You’ll play an important role in keeping people across the West of England connected, while providing a safe, comfortable and reliable journey every day.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• Minimum age of 18
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexible approach to shift work

No PCV licence is required, full training is provided.
