JigsawPlus specialist day centre for autistic adults has a rare opportunity for Psychology and Social Care Graduates looking to kick start a career in Social Care and Behaviour Analysis

Salary:£25000 PA (Plus a £500 bonus on completion of probation)
Hours:Mon to Friday - 9am-5pm(Part Time options Available)

Role Summary
At JigsawPlus everything we do is behaviour. Our Graduate training programme includes training in strategies and interventions that encourage positive outcomes and progress for our Learners. Working one to one with learners or within small groups, you will design, plan and deliver sessions that help support the development of knowledge and skills that will enhance their emotional wellbeing, independence and social inclusion, making significant differences to their lives. Our Graduates will receive support and regular supervision from some of the UKs leading and internationally recognised Behaviour Analytic experts whilst also making a real difference to the lives of autistic adults and their families.
How do Trainee Behaviour Analysis Graduates contribute to the Team?
- Providing behaviourally based support, care and teaching to our autistic adult
- Planning, preparing and delivering activities that support learners decision making, whilst promoting choice and involvement
- Supporting learners participation in social, leisure and educational activities and accessing work experience and employment opportunities
- Collating, recording and analysing data to both monitor learners progress and ensure the support, care and teaching is appropriate and effective
- Participating in training that allow graduates to achieve relevant qualifications, experience and supervision
- Ensuring learners individual needs are met through effective personal care that encourages and enables acceptable levels of person hygiene

- A fully funded training pathway worth over £13,000 to help build a career in Social Care and Behaviour Analysis
- Specific Behaviour Analysis Qualifications including Registered Behaviour Technician qualification (RBT), Behaviour Analysis Teaching accreditations (CABAS accreditation, focusing on adult curriculum), BCBA Status (Board Certified Behaviour Analyst certification), UKBA(cert) status and aUKBA(cert) status
- NVQ Level 3 & Level 5 Diplomas in Adult Social Care
- Behaviour Management PROACT SCIPr UK (Instructor Training)

What do you need to apply for Trainee Behaviour Analysis Graduate role?
- A desire to progress a career in Social Care and Behaviour Analysis with a desire to undertake further training and development
- A willingness to learn more about autism and how best to support adult learners
- A bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Care or an Allied field
- An interest in special educational needs and autism with a passionate for helping others learn and develop
- Professional, personal or voluntary experience of working with adults or young people with disabilities
- The capability to keep accurate records and reports to track learner progress
- A positive, patient, caring and can-do attitude with the ability to keep calm in high pressure situations
- The interpersonal skills needed to work as part of a team and build sound working relationships with our learners, parents and staff
- Comfortable with working with adults who exhibit challenging behaviour and supporting with personal/intimate care where required
