Job summary

Element Materials Technology Ltd. Warringtonfire is seeking a Trainee Auditor to join the Product Certification team.

You will conduct and report on factory production control audits as part of our certification schemes, and assist with sample selection and testing observations. You will develop your auditing skills across BS EN ISO 19011 and ISO 9001 guidance, travel across the UK and Europe as needed, and support training of new auditors while contributing to UKAS accreditation maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Educated to HNC / A Level standard or equivalent.
  • Ideally experienced auditing production of products at factories within the construction industry.
  • Good IT skills and MS Office proficiency (Word).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Ability to take ownership of clients and manage issues to a successful conclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct factory production control audits and report findings as part of certification schemes.

Warringtonfire, part of the Element Group, has an opportunity for a Trainee Auditor to join our Product Certification team. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing employers within the Testing, Inspection & Certification sector. This role is working with theWarringtonfire Audit Team.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting and reporting on factory production control audits as part of our certification schemes
  • Selection of samples for initial type testing or audit testing from factory, site or the market
  • Witnessing of production of samples for testing
  • Carrying out assessments of clients’ operations in accordance with BS EN ISO 19011 (guidelines for auditing management systems)
  • Reporting assessments in accordance with BS EN 19011 (guidelines for auditing management systems)
  • Conducting and reporting on ISO9001 (quality management systems) when required
  • To suggest improvements and to support and assist with the implementation of process and improvement projects
  • Assisting in conducting internal quality audits allied to maintenance of UKAS accreditations
  • When required - Assisting with the training of new Auditors
