Connells Survey & Valuation recognises the importance of developing the next generation of professional Surveyors. We have established an in-house, paid AssocRICS training programme that provides structured training and ongoing support throughout your career with us. Our approach combines technical training with practical, on-the-job experience, including shadowing experienced Surveyors and participating in classroom sessions.

Our training combines classroom learning with regular assessments and practical experience, aiming to equip our Trainees with the skills necessary for a successful career as a Valuation Surveyor.

To qualify as a Trainee AssocRICS Surveyor, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

1. An RICS-accredited surveying degree (graduate or postgraduate) including modules in valuation and/or building surveying, with at least one year of property-related work experience.
2. An RICS-approved HND, HNC, NVQ Level 3 diploma, BTEC, or foundation degree, with two or more years of property-related work experience, such as estate agency or surveying/valuation disciplines.
3. A minimum of four years of property-related work experience at negotiator level or higher, involving direct caseload handling and decision-making in property matters.
