Description:

Connells Survey & Valuation recognises the importance of developing the next generation of professional Surveyors. We offer an in-house, paid AssocRICS training programme that provides structured training and support throughout your employment. Our approach combines technical training with practical on-the-job experience, including shadowing experienced Surveyors and participating in classroom sessions.

We blend classroom learning with regular assessments and practical experience, aiming to equip our Trainees with the skills necessary for a successful career as a Valuation Surveyor.

To qualify as a Trainee AssocRICS Surveyor, you must meet one of the following criteria:

1. An RICS-accredited surveying-related degree, graduate or postgraduate, including a valuation module and/or building surveying with a pathology module on residential buildings, and at least one year of property-related work experience.
2. An RICS-approved HND, HNC, NVQ Level 3 diploma, BTEC, or foundation degree with two or more years of property-related work experience, such as estate agency or surveying/valuation disciplines.
3. A minimum of 4 years of property-related work experience, e.g., negotiator level or higher in estate agency, or equivalent experience in asset management, LPA, or property management involving caseload handling and decision-making in property matters.
