Job Description:

What you'll be doing?

Within the Construction environment, you'll be involved in buying materials, managing projects, ensuring health and safety, and customer service. We work on approximately 400 developments across the UK, each with unique challenges, from new builds on brownfield sites to adapting existing buildings like old factories or disused hospitals.

We seek individuals who can bring fresh ideas and imagination, along with the commercial skills to manage people, budgets, and costs. Our construction teams are highly professional, with Site Managers winning more NHBC Pride in the Job Awards than any other housebuilder for thirteen consecutive years.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist in site management and support activities aimed at meeting targets related to health and safety, quality, customer care, and costs.

You will be expected to:

  1. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, NHBC standards, building regulations, and quality standards.
  2. Report activities or actions that could affect health and safety, quality, customer care, or cost.
  3. Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers, and partners to meet build program deadlines.
  4. Monitor material levels to maintain minimal stock while ensuring the build schedule is met and labor is efficiently employed.
  5. Ensure all plots are built to the highest quality standards and maintain overall site presentation.
  6. Assist in defect reporting via IFix.
  7. Exemplify good behavior in health and safety, organization, conduct, work quality, and professionalism.

What you'll need?

To succeed, we are looking for:

  1. Confident communicator with a positive attitude.
  2. Leadership qualities and developing assertiveness.
  3. Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.
  4. Willingness to learn and gain experience in site management and customer care.
