You will be working with a growing regional house builder, working on traditional, open market developments, based in Lancashire area. The company are known to offer extensive training to develop skills in order for progression within.

Responsibilities for a Trainee Assistant Site Manager

  • Managing Sub-contractors and Suppliers with weekly planning, shadow experienced staff for planning and communication, learn conflict resolution, coordinate material deliveries, maintain a daily diary and enforce waste management procedures.
  • Attend training, assist with statutory forms, shadow safety inspections, and help review safe systems of work, method statement, and risk assessments.
  • Assist in Home Quality Inspections, ensure properties are defect-free, learn to resolve customer concerns and defects, and manage quality control during customer visits.
  • Observe interactions with Sales Executives on customer options and variations and learn to coordinate with departments and subcontractors on customer choices.
  • Assist in planning stage inspections, accompany team during inspections, and gain knowledge of standards and protocols.

Requirements for a Trainee Assistant Site Manager

  • You will have experience working on housing sites as a Joiner/Bricklayer or have a construction degree.
  • Relevant industry qualifications and certificates.
  • Able to travel to/around the Lancashire area.
