Overview
The Betfred Group has grown to become a leading global betting and gaming business. From our humble beginnings in Salford in the sixties, we have always differentiated ourselves by offering real value and a great customer experience, the same qualities that are at the heart of our business today.
Today, Betfred is a well-known brand on the high street with 1,340 shops across the UK, along with a significant online presence through offering online sports betting, casino, and games. We are one of the most active sponsors of sport in the UK, sponsoring a wide range of sports and tournaments under the famous red and blue banner. Our own TV channel, Betfred TV, streams live daily to our shops across the UK from our Media City studios.
Our shops are central to our business and community. As a retail colleague, you will ensure our shops provide a welcoming environment for customers to place bets, watch sports, and play gaming machines. Your daily tasks include processing bets, promoting responsible betting, assisting customers, maintaining shop standards, and after training, deputising for the Shop Manager. A key part of your role is to promote responsible betting and follow our ‘Think 21’ policy.
You must be 18 or over to work in our betting shops. While an interest in sports and betting is beneficial, no prior experience is required as we offer structured training to support your development. We also provide further training opportunities and encourage internal career progression.
Please note, we do not sponsor visas for this role as we lack a sponsorship license.
If you are a great communicator, passionate about customer service, and enjoy building relationships, we want to hear from you.
