Overview
The Betfred Group has grown to become a leading global betting and gaming business. From our humble beginnings in Salford in the sixties, we have always differentiated ourselves by offering real value and a great customer experience, the same qualities that are at the heart of our business today.
Today, Betfred is a well-known brand on the high street with 1,340 shops across the UK, along with a significant online presence through offering online sports betting, casino, and games. We are one of the most active sponsors of sport in the UK, sponsoring a wide range of sports and tournaments under the famous red and blue banner. Our in-house TV channel, Betfred TV, streams live daily to our shops across the UK from Media City studios.
Our 1,340 shops are central to our business and play a key role in their local communities. As a retail colleague, you will ensure our shops offer a warm and welcoming environment for customers to place bets, watch live sports, and play gaming machines.
Daily tasks include processing customer bets, ensuring responsible gambling, assisting with inquiries, maintaining shop standards, and after training, deputising for the Shop Manager. A key part of your role is to promote responsible betting and ensure all customers bet within their means, following the 'Think 21' policy.
You must be 18 or over to work in our betting shops. While an interest in sports and betting is advantageous, no prior experience is necessary as we provide structured training and development opportunities to support your career growth.
Please note: We do not have a sponsorship license to sponsor visas for UK work. Therefore, we cannot sponsor this role.
If you are a great communicator, passionate about customer service, and enjoy building relationships with colleagues and customers, we would love to hear from you.
In return, you will be rewarded, recognized, and valued!
