Overview
The Betfred Group has grown to become a leading global betting and gaming business. From our humble beginnings in Salford in the sixties, we have always differentiated ourselves by offering real value and a great customer experience, the same qualities that are at the heart of our business today.
Today, Betfred is a well-known brand on the high street with 1,340 shops across the UK, along with a significant online presence through online sports betting, casino, and games. We are one of the most active sponsors of sport in the UK, sponsoring a wide range of sports and tournaments under the famous red and blue banner. Our own in-house TV channel, Betfred TV, is streamed live daily to our shops across the UK from our studios in Media City.
Our 1,340 shops are at the heart of our business and play a key role in their local communities. As a retail colleague, you will ensure our shops offer a warm and welcoming environment for customers to place bets, watch live sports, and play gaming machines.
Your day-to-day tasks will include processing customer bets, ensuring they enjoy our products and services responsibly, assisting with their inquiries, maintaining shop standards, and after training, deputising for the Shop Manager. A key part of your role will be promoting responsible betting and following our ‘Think 21’ policy to ensure all customers bet within their means.
You must be 18 or over to work in our betting shops. While an interest in sports and betting is advantageous, no prior experience is necessary as we provide structured training to support your development as an Assistant Sales Manager. We also offer further training and career progression opportunities.
Please note: We do not hold a sponsorship license to sponsor visas for work in the UK, so we cannot sponsor this role.
If you are a great communicator, passionate about customer service, and enjoy building relationships with colleagues and customers, we want to hear from you.
