About the job:
Due to increased workload, we are recruiting for an Asset Inspection Technician (PCA). This physically demanding role involves working on-site and in an office environment within a fast-paced reactive department serving numerous clients nationwide.
The role requires a good education background, including an engineering qualification, and a proactive, flexible approach. Some work may require flexible hours and staying away from home temporarily.
Experience with pipe condition testing, ultrasonic technologies, and drilling and tapping live water mains is desirable. However, candidates with relevant experience in the water industry in servicing or maintenance roles will also be considered.
Asset condition assessments include Ultrasonic, Forensic, and Under Pressure Camera Surveys. Office-based tasks such as report compilation will also be part of the role, requiring attention to detail and proficiency with computer applications. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
