Job summary

Orion Electrotech is partnering with GTK in Basingstoke to recruit a Trainee Cable Assembler. The role focuses on learning soldering, wiring, crim­ping, and reading drawings with one-to-one training and immediate starts.

You will have the chance to visit the site, gain hands-on experience, and join a production team working Monday to Friday with flexible hours after training. An assessment afternoon is scheduled and benefits include holiday and pension options.

Responsibilities

• Learn soldering, wiring, crimping and IPC to IPC standards.
• Attend the assessment afternoon on Thursday September 3rd between 12:30pm–3pm.
• Temporary to permanent role with training and on-site guidance.

Job Title: Trainee Cable Assembler

The skills you will learn as a Trainee Assembler:

• Soldering

• Reading engineering drawings
• Working to IPC level

ASSESSMENT AFTERNOON on Thursday September 3rd at 12:30pm - 3pm with immediate starts available.

You’ll have the opportunity to visit the site to see the Production environment, give the work a try with one to one guidance & training and meet the Management team. Sounds good right?!

Job type: Temporary to permanent

Hourly rate: £12.72 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm - Flexible hours available once trained
